Harry F. Kuhn III specializes in school social work assessment and intervention, mental health services in schools, peer consultation, peer mentoring and clinical supervision. Mr. Kuhn is a certified school social worker and a licensed clinical social worker with a wealth of social work experience and a remarkable depth of clinical acumen. In his current capacity as a consultant to school districts and as a mentor to recently certified school social work, Mr. Kuhn advocates strongly for licensed clinical social workers to be in the classroom, collaborating with teachers, to provide psychotherapeutic social work interventions to enhance student self-efficiacy and academic achievement.

Mr. Kuhn was honored as Social Worker of the Year 2010-11 by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating excellence in his field. In addition, he was inducted into the 1968-69 edition of the Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. As a member of the New Jersey Crisis Response Team, Mr. Kuhn volunteered evenings and weekends from October to December of 2001 to FEMA's Family Assistance Center at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey, to help victims and witnesses of the Attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11. Mr. Harry F. Kuhn III has profound professional expertise in social work, a career spanning six decades. His particular expertise is in biopsychosocial clinical social work assessment and conative, ecological and psychotherapeutic interventions in the school setting. He is certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a school social worker and is licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Social Work Examiners as a clinical social worker. He is also a National Association Social Work diplomate in clinical social work, a member of NASW's Academy of Certified Social Workers Association of America, and an American Board of Examiners Diplomate Emeritus in Clinical Social Work. His private practice includes clinical supervision for LCSW candidates, school social work consultancy, and being a NASW/New Jersey Chapter-approved mentor to social workers. Mr. Kuhn is also certified by the American Red Cross as a disaster mental health specialist. Cambridge Who's Who selected Mr. Kuhn as its Social Work of the Year 2010-11 for his dedication to social work and for his clinical contributions to those who relied upon his mental health social work expertise throughout his continuing 41-year professional career. Mr. Kuhn is bilingual in Spanish and is socio-culturally competent with families from the various Spanish-speaking countries-of-origin in the Western Hemisphere.
